It was 2 am when Bryon took Cathy home and went inside with her to tell her parents what had happened with M&M. Her dad was certain that M&M would come home the next day, but Cathy did not believe him and told him M&M ran away because of all of his criticism . he is the pyounger children woke up and understood that M&M was gone and they began crying too. Finally, Cathy's dad told Bryon to go home so his mother would not worry and gave him the excuse he needed to go home.

Book3

 Mark was still in a lot of pain form the fight. Mark and Bryon sat at home remembering the fights they got into, hotwiring cars and drag racing, dates and parties, and the pranks they pulled on people when they were younger . Mark feels bad that they are not in a gang any more. Bryon thinks that the changing is a good thing . Mark still did not feel good on Monday, so Mark stay at home and Bryon went to school  . Everyone at school was talking about the fight, there own version of what happened.
